CRC Group on Wednesday launched a Data Centers product on its Insurisk platform.
The product is aimed at the insurance needs of the global data center sector including owners, operators, and developers as investment and scale increase, the specialty wholesaler said in a statement.
Insurisk Data Centers is available for projects including greenfield developments, expansions, and operational facilities with evolving risk profiles such as increased power density, complex cooling infrastructure, business interruption exposures, and construction-related challenges.
Limits up to $500 million in total capacity are available across property, including builders risk, and casualty.
Capacity is backed by traditional insurers, reinsurance relationships, and alternative capital sources such as insurance-linked securities.
Data centers are one of the fastest-growing infrastructure classes globally, Insurisk President Alex Bonds said in the statement.
